- If the jobsite is not clean when you arrive, notify the site superintendent.

- Dedicated 20-amp circuit required for bathroom receptacles. (NEC 210.11(C)(3))
- At least one dedicated 20-amp circuit required for laundry area outlets. (NEC 210.11(C)(2))
- Outlets every 4 feet along countertops, and within 2 feet of any end. (NEC 210.52(C)) 12”
- Communication wires: (NEC 800.133)
- should cross 110 circuit wiring at 90 deg angles
- Separate communication wires from branch circuitry and home runs by a minimum of
2” or ensure that the shielding in the communication wires is grounded. (NEC 800.133)
- Wire should not be pinched between framing members. (NEC 300.4(A) and 300.4(D))
- Wire terminations should be wrapped around the compression screws. Do not use stabs for
terminations. (NEC 110.14(A)) - Exterior gas water heaters should have a receptacle in the box. Do not hardwire.
- Wire for switches, receptacles, fixtures and appliances should have at least 6” of service loop to
allow for future maintenance. (IRC Section 3401.2 & NEC Section 300.14) - Maximum 12 receptacles per breaker.

- Refrigerators
- Dishwasher and Garbage Disposal can be on the same circuit
- Electric Range oven or cooktop

- Install empty conduit from the breaker box to the crawlspace (into the attic if the house is a slab
foundation) to allow for additional circuits in the future. (NEC 110.12). - Doorbell Wire should be wrapped around a 16 penny nail so that it doesn't get covered up by
brick.(RCH Internal Standard) - Floodlights not interfering with downspout locations.
- Meter Base not interfering with any exterior elements.
- 23. Boxes greater than 2 gang should be blocked and leveled before fastening to framings.

By performing work on Retherford Custom Homes projects, the contractors agrees to ensure that their work complies with locals codes and standards set up in the most current International Building Code.
